Welcome to the official website of UK College of IT, an English educational institution with a long-standing commitment to practical, people-centred education.
Over the past decades, our institution has become closely associated with an educational philosophy and approach in which the individual has always been at the centre, rooted in English culture and traditions. In education, this means a strong focus on the needs of the learner: child-centred approaches in early education and, in adult education, interactive, practical and real-life learning designed to provide knowledge and skills that are relevant to today’s professional environment.
For ten years, UK College of IT also delivered English college-level programmes in Europe, outside the United Kingdom, within the framework of adult education, serving several thousand students. We have organised international educational programmes in England and have gained extensive experience in adult, college and higher education in Switzerland as well.
Our international recognition is reflected in the fact that students from 43 countries have studied with us. Over the years, several thousand students and adults have acquired practical, professionally relevant knowledge and skills that can be applied both in everyday life and in their professional careers.
The experience I gained through my English and Swiss schools, together with my research and study visits in numerous countries, has further broadened my professional perspective. During these experiences, I had the opportunity to study different educational systems and teaching methodologies from early childhood education through to higher education. I am pleased to be able to share these experiences and insights with others.
Today, we aim not only to provide education and knowledge, but also to place the experience we have accumulated over many decades at the service of our students. We offer knowledge, methodologies and practical support that can be applied over the long term and across different areas of life.
Through practical examples, real-world experience and effective methods, we strive to provide our students with meaningful and applicable support.
Our programmes also include courses related to business management, project development and management, as well as a wide range of other professional fields. What they have in common is a strongly practice-oriented approach. We do not simply aim to provide theoretical knowledge; we prepare our students to deal with specific tasks, real-life situations and professional challenges.
It is equally important to us that learning should fit naturally into people’s lives. We do not want to take up our students’ time unnecessarily, which is why our programmes are designed to be flexible. Lectures and video-based learning materials remain available for later viewing, making it easier for students to balance their studies with work, family and everyday responsibilities.
Everything we do is guided by one fundamental objective: to provide genuine, practical and tangible support to those who choose to learn with us.
